All of our roof vents are bespoke and suit 16 to 32mm glazing. We offer 3 variants; aluminium with a UPVC inner cladding to act as a thermal break(pictured below), an aluminium opening vent with a UPVC base, and an all UPVC option (pictured above) that can also be glazed directly into polycarbonate. We can supply all colour options, including wood grain foils, as well as non-standard or dual colour. They can be operated with a simple 'crank handle' to work the spindle mechanism or we can supply fully motorised operated by either a simple switch or thermostatic unit.

We have a range of crank handles with which to operate the spindle mechanism on the roof vents:
|
1 metre and 1.5 metre brass (hardwood handles) |
|
1 Metre and 1.5 metre brass (black plastic handles) |
|
1.5 metre chrome effect |
|
1.5 metre brass and chrome |
We stock spindles to suit all roof vent systems and timber applications in either brass or chrome with eyes to be operated with crank handles, or with winding handles to suit low pitch roofs.

The chain actuators can be controlled by either a simple switch (pictured) or this can be superseded by a climate controlled unit and reservoir for the ultimate in roof vent control (pictured below).
CLIMATE CONTROLLER AND RAIN SENSOR Pictured above is the display unit, rain sensor and wire. The unit also comes with a separate electronic control unit (not pictured). The electronic control unit looks very similar to a single socket blanking plate and can be mounted along with the display unit on a vertically mounted double back box, or on its own single back box away from the display, as it was originally designed to do, perhaps at skirting board level. We recommend that the suitable back boxes used are, when mounted together a City Electrical Factors part code CEF TE36 Double Back Box (35mm deep) or, when two separate boxes are used, CEF TE15 Single Back Box x 2 (or equivalents from another supplier).
This stylish Solar Vent provides silent and reliable ventilation for hot or humid areas 24 hours a day, reducing condensation and heat build-up in your conservatory. It provides more than double the airflow of any similar sized solar vent and of course, runs on free solar energy. The unit is supplied with three interchangeable exterior housings in different colours (white, brown and green - as illustrated above) so there's bound to be one to match your conservatory.
